Impacts Alaska Counseling. Christie was clever enough to have designed her own site, but like many small business owners, did not have the time to invest in all the maintenance it was beginning to require. She needed a professional-looking but creative site that was easy to maintain. She wanted a blog and she wanted to be able to easily publish articles. Again, a WordPress powered site was an easy solution. The design was a free one that she picked from http://www.freewpthemes.net that we altered slightly.

Alaska Pacific University. Sundog Media in Anchorage, Alaska, needed a flash contractor to build a “flash accordion player” to display interactive content. They were the designers here and I built it to their specifications.

Via Christi Family Medicine. VCFM had an outdated site. They wanted a fresh look with lots of information, forms, map of graduates, profiles of faculty, staff and residents, and whatever else they could dream up to give prospective residents a good look at what their program is like. We met that need with a WordPress powered site with lots of bells and whistles. Residents, faculty and staff can create their own profiles and update them. Faculty and residents can write news articles. Faculty can update information. Staff keeps a calendar of interviews. Explore the site to see all the fun stuff we included here.

St. Andrews Lutheran Church. The church needed a more professional (but not stiff) looking website, where they could keep up with the updates themselves. This site is powered by WordPress and the administration and pastor can log in to change information, upload pictures, update the calendar, and write articles. We created the design from photos of the church’s stained glass.

WOW! It looks great!

Yes!! It does look just GREAT! I am so excited!!!!!

Poco Seymour. This website showcases a vacation rental in Port Mansfield, TX. It is made with Adobe Flash.

The album looks way cool- great idea! I like the bright colors too.

The site looks great! Thanx again!!

Mark Matson Art. A portfolio site for Mark Matson’s scientific illustration and artwork in paint and ink.

As part of my Ebay presentation I include a link to the website. I’m certain the website helps sales and reassures potential buyers that I’m a serious artist. Thanks for your help!

Orbs of Happiness. A WordPress powered site for art contests.

Wow, we love the work you’ve been doing and appreciate your help.

Sportsman Magnets and More. Shopping cart website where retail and wholesale can buy product online. Built with zen cart. Flash rotating bumper magnet display.

Wellspring Financial Advisors.
This site implements Flash technology and warm colors to welcome existing clients to the site.

House Portraits by Pete.
This is a simple site with clean lines and few colors to show off Pete’s watercolor house portraits and other art. Quotes from Pete:

I think it’s close to perfect. I’m really impressed.

Thanks for the good work. I love it… It’s simple, readable and represents me well.

China Partners. China Partners needed help with a menu  and design, but wanted to do all the updating themselves. We hooked them up with Macromedia Contribute and a Blog that they can edit from any internet-connected computer. Quotes from China Partners:

I’m glad you enjoyed working on the site – I have enjoyed working  with you! You provided just what we needed, and that feels great.

Buena Vista Rentals. This site advertises several rentals  in the Buena Vista area of Winston-Salem, NC. There is a slideshow for each rental.

Coming Home Counseling. This is a small site for a Christian counselor in Anchorage. Coming to a counselor can be an intimidating experience. Counselors are usually recommended by word-of-mouth, so the intent of this site is to help a potential counselee that has heard of Dr. Brock get to know him. Then making the call for that first appointment isn’t so “cold”. This site also allows the counselor to email articles directly to the website to be published.

Coffman Morris Landscape Design. Coffman Morris Landscape Design needed a sleek site to show off their artistry. A potential client can see sample design plans (scanned in to show that they are hand watercolored)  and an assortment of photos of their work.

Alaska State Dental Hygienists’ Association.
The ASDHA president approached me for a site redesign. She wanted a fun site that would attract and benefit members, with pieces that officers and members could update themselves. We created a sort of “tooth mascot” to distinguish between pages, put up a bulletin board, and added two   databases to capture job postings and what they call a “fill in list”. Some pages are password protected for only members to see.

Quotes from ASDHA:

Thanks for your work on the design. It is looking very good and things are working much better.

The web site looks so excellent!!!! I can’t tell you how happy I am with it!!!! Thanks soooo much.

Hey Kc!!! I’ve gotten tons of compliments on the site!!!
