Back to Diaperville

Swallowing my pride and going back to diapers for PJ. It’s been a stressful week. Today he told both Josh and I to spank him again after punishment for different things… So I called the playschool administrator. I wanted to check and see what might be going on there. After reassuring me that they really only use redirection, she mentioned that he might be doing it for attention. I hadn’t thought of that avenue. And then I realized he’s probably not making progress with the potty training for the same reason. He gets a lot of undivided attention when he poos his pants! So I asked him this morning if he’d rather be wearing diapers or underwear. He said, “diapers, Mamma.” And so we are back to diaperville (sob!). It is buying us a little peace though!
