Mice are still here. Tried humane traps. Tried snap traps. Tried sticky boards. I hear them snickering at me at night!
Reading Parenting with Love and Logic. I really like the book. I would like to get ahold of this style of parenting. I think I could actually have more kids and love it if I could catch on. It is NOT natural for me, however. It requires some calming down, empathy, and creative discipline.
Tough month, but doing OK so far. Still need to find a babysitting solution for during the day a couple of times a week so I can work. Planning to spend Thanksgiving with the Brueggemanns and have a pumpkin cake for Eliza’s birthday. Maybe I’ll put Piglet on it.
Eliza’s not walking quite yet. She gets around really good. She points to things that she wants. She seems to say, “Hi” sometimes. She waves. She and PJ are starting to play together. PJ will get on his hands and knees and say, “Come on, Eliza,” and she’ll usually follow.
PJ loves to play with playdough. We’ve been making it lately. Today he must have played with it for an hour. He said he was making muffins for the mice.
