Well, he’s not catching the vision! I took him to Wally’s and they had no fish! But we looked at a bowl and rocks. Then we decided to go to Pet Co. which shares their parking lot. We looked at all kinds of creatures. I asked PJ if he wanted a betta fish. “No,” he said. “I want a goldfish.” OK, I thought…
So we get in the car. I say, “don’t you think a pet fish would be a great reward for potty training? If you keep your underwear dry tomorrow and have no accidents, how about we get you a pet fish? Don’t you want a pet fish?”
“No.” He says.
“What? Do you want stickers or something?”
“Yes! Stickers!” He says.
Well, right now we are watching Cat in the Hat. I’m still trying to talk him into a fish. I said, “Don’t you want a pet Krinkelbein?”
“Yes!” he says.
We’ll have to have another discussion this evening. He had two accidents today so things aren’t looking great yet.
I met with the principal of the preschool today and he was great. I hope we can get this potty training down by Tuesday!!!
