Wow, April already! We had a cold night last night and supposed to have a hard freeze tonite. Ooftah! I guess it’s colder than normal down here, not that we would notice!
Josh has another exam on Thursday, then we have Easter weekend off starting with Friday. I’ll have to find somewhere for us to tour on Friday or Saturday. Josh’s birthday is on Sunday. On Easter. I did a little research to find out how often an April birthday will occur on Easter. What spurred it was a little debate with Josh. I said it was really rare to share your birthday with Easter because it moves around every year and is based on moon phases. I had my birthday on Easter when I was like 12 or so and my Granny told me it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Josh said it was no big deal, he had had his birthday on Easter before. REALLY?! I said. Well, here’s the scoop. Easter occurs between (or on) May 22 and April 25 every year. I charted a 600 year span to see the frequency of different dates. It so happens, Josh’s date of April 11, is one of the more frequent Easter occurrences. It occurs 26 times in that 600 year period, whereas mine only occurs 16 times. Practically speaking, however, this only comes out to one less occurrence for me, depending, of course, on out lifespan. I know you all find this as fascinating as I do.

Ooo! Ooo! Leigh Anne and I went to the (CRAZY) Junior League Rummage Sale this weekend and got a Dutailier Glider Rocker for $15! It needs a little love – I cleaned it up and need to replace a couple of nuts on it, but what a steal! I was looking online and can’t really get a glider rocker for much under $200 new. I’ve seen them used for around $80. Thank You, Lord! How nice. Now… where to put it?
