It’s my birthday today! I’m 2^5. Doubling my age for the fifth time in my life. Next time won’t be for quite a while. Josh took me to Sweet Potatoes for my birthday lunch. We had fried okra, fried green tomatoes, I had a ceasar salad and sweet potato fries and Josh had a pork sandwich and a fruit salad. It’s a downtown restaurant, a little fru-fru, but good food. We heard the desserts there are really good but they only had bread pudding and apple pie right then and we were already full of fried food so we passed. Might have to catch dessert later tonite.

I got some maternity clothes for my birthday from my friend Amy and my sister Kym. Now I can be cute and pregnant. Josh got me a new bag for my camera and wallet and a travel tripod, but it won’t get here for a few days…
Only four more Math classes. I had to copy off some papers on my own dime today – $17. What a bummer. I can’t always get the turnaround time I need at FTCC. You have to turn your stuff in 3 or 4 days ahead of time. I had been concentrating on the upcoming test and didn’t realize I would need some handouts today. The last section we have to go over is not in the book.
Got a baby shower coming up May 1. My friend Leigh Anne is hosting it for me. Very sweet of her!
Went to the library again. Nice place to shop and no danger of going over budget! Got A Mount Vernon Love Story. I was hoping to get the sequel to The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency called Tears of the Giraffe, but it was checked out. I need to learn how to use their internet database so I can see what they have before I make the trip. Or I can go to a different library if they have it. Thought about getting a video for the weekend, but we just don’t watch TV – it lives in the closet. And with the weather the way it is, I think we’d much rather go for a walk.
Speaking of walks, Josh says you have to exercise for an hour at least 6 days a week just to keep your health. And if you want to reverse damage, you have to exercise for 90 minutes. That just sounds so overwhelming to me. He said that you really have to build it into your lifestyle. So that you have to walk or bike to work. I guess we’ve turned exercise into too much of a recreation where we have to make time for it.
