I rearranged the furniture last night. We have been making fires in the fireplace and have nowhere to sit. I moved the small sofa out of the TV room into the front room. When PJ woke up and came downstairs he said, “How considerable of you, Momma!”
We have quite a snowstorm today! We tried to drive to the hospital to visit Josh this morning because he didn’t have any women and labor and we could share a donut with him at the cafeteria (he’s on call all day and night today). When we got halfway there (which probably took a half hour – I was in 4 wheel drive – about 500ft visibility – everyone was going about 20 miles an hour at most – and still there were shoppers about!), Josh called us and said the power went out at the hospital and he would be busy helping manage patients on ventilators, etc., so we should turn around. We just happened to be near Krispy Kreme, so we picked up some snowman donuts instead.
