So last night we were up pretty much all night with Eliza coughing and throwing up. She was quite happy all night with all the attention we were giving her. She was almost delighted. No fever. We slept her in her old car seat so she was sitting up. We had given her a cough supressant, benedryl, tylenol. What else was there?
Well, good thing Miti called me this morning. She remembered that Wyatt would do that and they would just give him a nebulizer treatment. So far tonite, no throwing up! Hooray! I never would have thought of that. I would have thought she would have been wheezing if she needed that! Josh is the one with no excuse. I guess doctoring your own kids in the middle of the night can be difficult…
Speaking of Eliza, she is really taking off with the communication. She’s saying, “Pa-pa”, “Buh-bu” (for PJ), and a very enuciated, “No.” She likes to go investigate all the things she knows are Nos and say, “No”. She is signing more and saying, “Moooh”. And she will also sign Please! You can see her really watching your lips when she wants to try a new word. She likes to say “Bu-buuh” for bubble, and “Baahh!” for ball. She will “woof” for a dog and say “zzzzzzzzzz” for a zipper. And for a bee.
