Wow, still having sleep issues. I guess we are getting sort of used to it by now. But it means we are really slow in the morning! It sure seems like PJ does much better during the day. Last night we went for a walk with friends and then had ice cream at their house. We came home at 10:30PM and I tried to feed PJ then. He did OK but then we had issues at 1AM. I finally decided to get up after feeding him this morning at 10:30AM. Slow start today. I am still working on breakfast for myself and it is noon!
Last night Diane Oser came over to deliver a crib, a present, and some toys from cousins Hermya and Gage Brock in Portland, OR. It is great not to have to buy a crib (we are using a co-sleeper right now) and the present was a cute Osh-Kosh outfit for when PJ is bigger. Very fun set of toys. It included a neat crib mobile. I put it in front of PJ this morning and he actually looked like he was focusing on something for the first time!
I have heard that babies like black and white contrast – somehow it holds their interest because it looks like it is moving. So I tried drawing black lines on a card to see if that held his interest, too. Sure enough!
