Pooed yesterday morning again! Tried him at 5am and he didn’t have anything. Then at 7am I tried him again and he pooed. It’s cute cause he’ll really try for me – he seems to be flexing his little muscles and grunting.
This morning no poo yet. Rough night waking up a lot to nurse. But for the last week or so I’ve been able to nurse him all night laying down. A lot easier on me! Although he pretty much stays in bed with me all night then. I always try to start him in the cosleeper…
It is interesting how all those parenting books were good starters with great ideas, but now I pretty much do my own thing. Perhaps they are just good for when you are really lost and need help for a particular problem. For example, there is a lot of advice about not nursing your baby to sleep. I guess so they don’t depend on it to sleep. But I’m with him all the time and it has been working the last week or so to do that, so why not? I don’t mind it. We’ll see – maybe I’ll find out why they say not to do it!
I’m rambling. And PJ is about to go to sleep again, so I think I better take advantage and nap with him!
