We visited another church this Sunday – http://www.messiahbaptist.org/templates/cusmessiahbc/default.asp?id=31733. Newspring. It is a bit of a mega-church, but not as intimidating as Central Christian. Again, we both don’t feel it’s a great fit for different reasons. So discouraging! But I did like the people. And it was more comfortable than anywhere else I’ve gone. And I actually felt like I could go to this one by myself. So we may visit again next week.
The kids didn’t go to their classes – PJ did really well in the service with us. We visited his classroom afterwards and met the teachers. They really made an effort with PJ and he might actually go willingly next week. We shall see. Also, I saw Erica there from my Mom’s group. I really liked her. She said they’ve been going since the summer and will probably join.
